Our journey started in 1980 with the opening of Kyiv Brewery #3, brewing its first beer for the XXII Olympic Games.

By 1989, our production partners had begun exporting, with Zhiguli Beer making its way to the UK, where it quickly gained instant recognition. This milestone marked the beginning of our commitment to sharing Ukrainian brewing traditions globally.

Our production partners establish a cutting-edge malting plant in the Khmelnytskyi oblast of western Ukraine, designed and built by Czech and German engineers.

With a production capacity exceeding 170,000 tonnes annually, it quickly becomes one of the largest facilities in Europe, supplying large breweries across Central and Eastern Europe.

SKY Malt as a distinct brand began in 2024 when we recognized the need for a more dependable and affordable malt supply in the UK.

Building on our inital success, we quickly expanded into France, Switzerland and the Czech Republic, partnering with trusted companies to extend our reach.

Throughout this growth, our mission has remained clear: to provide high-quality, cost-effective base malts while prioritising sustainability and reliability.
